ARTICLE 1: Purpose

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the website https://www.saugnac-gauges.com, published by SAUGNAC JAUGES, together with the purposes pursued and the means available to you to give or withdraw your consent.

It supplements our legal notice and our privacy policy, to which it refers for all matters concerning the processing of your personal data.

ARTICLE 2: Definition

A cookie is a file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the publisher of the site, or a third party, to recognise your device during subsequent visits.

The similar technologies covered by this policy include browser local storage and tracking pixels, which serve comparable purposes.

ARTICLE 3: Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to the operation of the website and to the delivery of the services you request. Under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, they are exempt from prior consent and cannot be disabled.

ARTICLE 6: Obtaining and withdrawing consent

On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept all cookies subject to consent, to refuse them entirely, or to choose category by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting and does not restrict your access to the website or to our services in any way.

If you make no choice, no cookie subject to consent is placed.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time, with the same degree of simplicity, by clicking the “Cookies” link available on every page of the website.

ARTICLE 7: Retention of your consent

Your choices are retained for a period of six months. Once this period has elapsed, the banner is displayed again in order to obtain updated consent.

ARTICLE 8: Transfers outside the European Union

The Google Analytics and Google Ads services may involve transfers of data to the United States. These transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Such transfers only take place after your consent to the relevant categories has been obtained.

ARTICLE 9: Browser settings

Independently of the consent banner, you can configure your browser to refuse cookies, to be notified when they are placed, or to delete them. The procedure varies from one browser to another and is described in its help section.

Blocking all cookies at browser level may impair the operation of the website, in particular the shopping cart and the checkout process.

ARTICLE 10: Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, as well as the right to restrict and object to processing. These rights may be exercised with SAUGNAC JAUGES using the contact details set out in Article 11.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
